Poppy Champlin on “Comics Unleashed” with Byron Allen, Episode 14 of Season 2. The original air date was August 13, 2008.

This is a scene from the pilot episode of the sitcom, “A Fag, a Dyke, and a Dog,” written by Poppy Champlin and Mitch Hara. In this scene, Poppy’s character has been in rehab and away from performing comedy for five years. This is her first time back in the world of comedy, when she’s about to go on stage at the Hollywood Improv. Unsurprisingly, she wants to chicken out–watch to see what she decides to do!

A short film directed by JD Disalvatore, where Poppy Champlin fills the role of Mr. Pink, originally played by Steve Buscemi.
